Pig Out BBQ Pit in Glen Mills, PA

Heard so much about Pig Out BBQ Pit. It mentioned it was the best BBQ in Philly 2010. Decide to give it a try and make the special trip while it took us 3+ hours to get there, but unfortunately it was so not worth it.

Parking was no problem. When we got there, they are not too busy. Most people have it to go. While standing in line, other customer was very friendly and told us pull pork was good there.

When it was our turn, I mentioned that I saw on facebook that if I check in the place, I could get something free and ask if they are still doing that. Well, the owner jump right in and in a very rude kind of way told me NO... we no longer doing that and walked away. Well, I was not there for freebies, but to try their food, and he could just told me nicely.

We placed our order with a nice lady. Had ordered sandwich SAMPLER
1) Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork w/Mild BBQ Sauce: Pulled pork part was pretty good.
2) North Carolina Pulled Pork w/Coleslaw: Bread was soggy.
3) Pulled Chicken BBQ with Honey Mesquite BBQ Sauce: Chicken was dry but the bread was soggy.

Also ordered full rack of baby back ribs. These are the shortest baby back I have seen. First the temperature was not hot at all and the sauce was thicker than the rib itself. All I can tasted was the sauce. I thought I ordered ribs. They really do not need to sauce the ribs to death.

Mac-n-Cheese had a nice crust, but again it is just barely warm.

Did not get any free beer or friendly owner as other were mentioned. Did ordered some soda as well. Total $33+ dollars.

Will not go back and will not recommended. Unfortunately told some friends about this place before we try it. Will not make that mistake again.
